December 8, 200322 yr Sportsnet.ca - The Toronto Blue Jays have signed free-agent RHP Kerry Ligtenberg, Sportsnet has learned. Ligtenberg was 4-2, with one save and a 3.34 ERA in 68 games with the Baltimore Orioles last season. Terms of the contract are not known at this time.

December 8, 200322 yr Damn Lightenberg was one guy I wanted in the pen. I was confused why the O's let him go. I don't think he's going to get too much...Even if the O's do add Vlad and I-rod; without any pitching they're done...Not to mention the Redsox and Yankees are in the same division...

December 9, 200322 yr 2 years, 4.5 mil...Seems a bit overpaid; but not bad. Maybe that's why we didn't sign him. Let me tell you though....the one thing seperating the 2003 Blue Jays from being the 2000 White Sox was a good bullpen. Their bullpen had about no good pitchers in it.
