Maybe a maggs trade to the yanks is still not of the equation, because it looks like sheffield isn't a done deal anymore, and someone here posted that Vlad will not play for the yankees, if this is true I think the sox and yankees could do some business, maybe a deal revolving around soriano and others, I don't know if the yankees would be willing to still trade soriano, but I just thought I'd bring this up, cause it's not a dead possibility anymore.

I remember reading that Vlad didn't want to play in NY. I see his options being Baltimore and Anaheim. I'll be quite surprised if they get Vlad in Anaheim after signing Escobar and Colon.

Yanks don't hav much in da way of prospects, would hav luved to gran Claussen off em bf he went to Cincy for Aaron Boone. Soriano would definitely hav to be included, and I hate to say Yanks would prob try to force Weaver on us as well, but I've heard they want to get rid of Hammond as well.

I don't see Soriano as a great defensive centerfielder. In fact, he'd prrobably be a liability. CF is not a position just anyone can play. See Jose Valentin as an example of an infielder trying to play in CF.
