Well I haven't seen any of them nor do I ever plan on doing so in my lifetime. I have a tough time staying awake during the commercials, how could I sit though three hours of it?

Just my opinion

haha, and right now your opinion sucks:) kidding.

I think you're missing something...they're great films, but I can understand if you don't dig the story line.

That's one of the reasons. The plot doesn't interest me. I also didn't read the books so I'm not one of the Tolkien crazys. Another thing is I have a tough time sitting through really long movies at the theater or at home, the final reason I don't care to see it is because of everybody beating me up for not seeing in the first place. It's like I'm a traitor to the country or something. I'm very stubborn about these things. The more people diszone me for not wanting to see the movies, the less I want to see them at all.

I've loved to read since well as soon as I could. I remember an english teacher who, in high school, we would have voted most likely to fire up a joint in the washroom, sugggested I read the Lord of the Rings. I got as far as Bilbo's birthday party and thought dude, I don't do drugs and never read any more.

My son thought they were the greatest books in the world and finally convinced me to read the first one. I was hooked. Great story line, excellent characters and the film makers have done an incredible job of bringing the characters to life.

oh, so NOW you're doing drugs and reading.

I have yet to see any of the three Lord of the Rings, I want to though. I've heard a lot of great things of the movies.

I still haven't seen the last 2 Matrix movies, but I hear I'm not missing anything there...LOL

Matrix is cool also. Again my high schooler dragged me to the first one and I was hooked. I think it's cool he'll pass on a couple movies with his friends and drag me.

The first one was great. The last two left a lot to be desired.

:finger pa i think im goin thursday night, if not then i have to wait till saturday

As far as legacies go for the entire trilogy, the Matrix trilogy will be merely an afterthought when compared to the LOTR Trilogy.

Correction, the Matrix Trilogy already in an afterthought.
