Sorry if it seems I'm insulting the Islamic religion here, but it seems so ridiculous that a pile of LARD can ward off suicide bombers. But if this simple solution solves the problem, why not?

 

Picture Israelis carrying around super soakers full of lard instead of guns. Reminds of the movie "Lost Boys," where Corie Feldman and the other vampire hunter are filling up water pistols in a tub full of garlic/holy water. Although I would personally recommend water balloons; lard is too thick to shoot out of a plastic gun.
