January 28, 200422 yr Well if it was a cocktail lunch and he gets in an accident, the company is who is ultimately liable. But since it wasn't that, they should still handle things and take care of it. Get him a cab, take him home, dock him the pay for the day and write him up. One more time and he's fired.

January 28, 200422 yr Workin at a department store at K-Mart u r bound to run into things like this from time to time. I've had co-workers who r obviously drunk of their ass, and others who r high off drugs.
January 28, 200422 yr Opinions on what you guys would do if a co-worker was obviously drunk at work..? He must have gone to the U of M. Seriously, that is a bad problem though. I would see what other co-workers think.
January 28, 200422 yr This has happened a couple times at the theatre (since i've been there) and both people are still working here . More of the time workers are "stoned" then drunk and it's just a few select people and the managers dont care as long as it doesn't get to out of hand. But hey that's New York for you.
