Sox @ Giants

On another note. Cubs losing 11-4 in the 7th, and Stone just said this is long from over.

Mitre (their new #5 starter *snicker*) got roughed up........again.

Though that's all I'm saying on the subject since the last time he faced the Sox, he shut us out for 4 innings.

I know he's pretty decent, but he's supposed to make up for Prior? Right!

After yesterday's performance, we look ready to go. When we get on a roll, we really lay it on, huh? Lol, as a McDonald's spokesman would say, "I'm loving it." :headbang

Hey according to Stone on Sunday the Cubs can "absorb" the loss of Prior because of their depth at starting pitching. He said they would be more worried if they lost Lee at 1b or Barrett at C.... Yes, he actually said this....

Carlos Maldonado? Is that Candy's son??

Just logged on. Good to see the offense and pitching click together. I have a couple of concerns and that is the fact our pitchers seem to give up a lot of homers maybe becasue they are around the plate a lot, but still we have to cut that down. Also I like Willie Harris and I think that he is starting to get in synch with that bat of his. If he relaxes and plays like we think he can I believe we will have a real good 2Bman.

WHITE SOX WINNER!

Shingo got 3 outs on 3 pitches in the 9th.

Sox are now 14-13 on the spring, Giants 9-17.

I was just wondering that myself...

Has a little to do with being in Arizona as well. The ball carries more.

Something of note: We didn't hit a homer today. We can finally score runs without the long ball.

Good deal. Shingo looks to have more confidence, and has made the adjustments he needed. Glad to see it.

Let's make sure NOT to leave these bats in Birmingham this year

Great White Sox win ( :headbang)...................which is only made sweeter by the 15-4 ASS whooping the Cubs are recieving.

The offense has been really explosive these past few days. I would say this is good timing for the opener.... ;)

Ordonez has been on fire lately. That's good to see, hopefully he'll have a season similar to his monster 2002 season or better.

It looks to me that Adkins is pretty much on the team, am I wrong to assume this?

It looks to me that Adkins is pretty much on the team, am I wrong to assume this?

That's my opinion. He's earned it.

Although, they may want a guy with more experience (Jackson), who isn't like;y to be pitching in Charlotte. So who knows? That's why I'm not in charge.

Nice to see Harris gettin betta and betta with each spring training game. A good start will be very important for him to get his confidence goin. Good to see our bullpen guys like Shingo pitchin betta as well.

Best part is Pierzynski goin 0-3. Glad to see Dennis not hurting us.

Thank God we won't see that Sox Killer in our division again..

Man did Williams get roughed up again. And he'll be their #2 starter as well while Schmidt is injured.

The thing that amazes me is Barry hasnt been back for more thean a week and he already has 6 homers.
