Besides the Sox who is your favorite MLB team

Featured Replies

I'd have to say the Los Angeles Dodgers, as I'm a huge Sandy Koufax fan.

Braves. Sometimes i´m looking at his box score, other things.

Who ever is playing the cubs.

The Edinburg Roadrunners; Best team I can see live in a regular basis.

UTPA Broncs; Good college team with a strong early season schedule

Houston Astros; The most coverage on local tv and radio. Listening to Milo Hamilton is a but spooky.

I'll admit it, if the Cubs were somehow to win a WS *after* the Sox, I would not feel too bad. If they do it first, it's a nightmare. I only developed this attitude after being 1,600 miles away and do not live, work, play, and drink around Cub fans. This statement is void north of St Louis.

The Charlotte Knights, Birmingham Barons, Winston-Salem Warthogs and Kannapolis Intimidators.

And the Cincinnati Reds as the season begins because they're playing The Team Whose Name I Refuse to Type

I don't really have another favorite team but I do watch the Cubs and the Twins just because they are the only other two teams that are broadcast regularly in the Twin Cities.

Mariners (don't tell Brian that )

Cards Mets Dodgers (all kinda tied)

I love the Whitesox, first and foremost...then any (every) team that b****-slaps the cubs is fine with me (although I really don't like National League baseball).

The Tampa Bay devil Rays, hey if dukie v loves them, THERE AWESOME BABY

PaleHose, A note about the current cartoon. Bush is the first President who speaks Spanish. He held any conversations with President Fox in Spanish when the Mexican President visited the US.

Si, habla espanol!sbo040326.gif

Cardinals, Ozzie Smith was my favorite player growing up until a guy named Frank Thomas came along! After Ozzie left I lost interest a little in the Cards and got really crazy about the White Sox.

Also, like everybody else, my second favorite team is always whoever is playing the Cubs.

I have to say Toronto. I became a big George Bell fan in 1987 when he won the MVP. I don't follow them too much now, but they're still in my heart a little bit.

I love tthe D-Rays when we go to sarasota for the summer we sneak out to Tampa and catch a game. (Usually the Yankees) plus we are huge Baldelli fans :)

when i was a young kid (before i really knew anything about baseball), i used to cheer for the cardinals and the original wizard of oz. i've always kinda followed them but by far my favorite team is da sox. :headbang

The Dodgers are my other favorite team. When I was growing up I had an Aunt who lived in LA. This was in the Mid to late 80's when they had good teams (and won it all in 88). So I would go to games, just became a fan

After the White Sox, my next favorite team is the Oaklnad A's becaue of their awesome starting pitching. I also root for the Cardinals in the NL because of Tony Larussa.

Beside the White Sox. I root for Seattle and Oakland. Seattle due to Ichiro and Edgar. Oakland due to Zito and Mulder....those guys are awesome...even better than Prior and Wood. IMO.

I'd have to say the Phillies are my second fav. team. What they did in 93 was awesome. Dykstra was clutch. Shilling was just normal. Darrin Daulton made catchers look good. Kruk was the man. I was so happy when Kruk became a White Sox, even though it was only for a couple of months.

Now they have Abreu, Wagner, Leberthial, and Wolf. All who I am a big fan of.

I like the D-Rays, except when we play them, but I kind of like the Stros too. Not because they are in the Cub's division, just because..., well I don't know why. They got Frank's twin on the team so that helps.

Gotta go with the Spos--they're stadium is crap, but their games are fun (and cheap). And I have a soft spot in my heart for lost causes...

probably the cardinals here. my dad is a sox fan and his dad was a cards fan, so i was always kinda soft on the cards. also like watching seattle cuz of edgar and oakland cuz of the big 3, though i think billy beane's mildly overrated.

oh yeah and whoever's playing the cubs obviously.

I'll say Houston because they are hated so much by the Northside ball club.

Cardinals: they are a cubs rival, and a nice orginization to root for

Mets: because of my proximity to them

Red Sox: Another quality orginization and they are a Yankee rival.

Marlins: Dontrelle Willis, nuff said.

Dodgers: Love the logo.

I'd have to say Houston and Florida. Houston because I like watching them for some reason and I've always liked Florida dating back to around the '98 Series with Kevin Brown and Edgar Renteria.
