Why? When you have a bunch of greedy overswinging pull hitters who can't recognize a good breaking pitch and basically feast on mistakes......what else can they do against a good pitcher having a good day but FAIL?

 

This has been like this for 3.5 years. Sure, we did creep up on the league in April-June of 2000, but since then the books has been out on Sox hitting tendencies.

 

Never has such an average offense received so much hype. Who even remembers that we finished in the BOTTOM half in AL in runs score last year? And how much worse are we because we have Harris in place of Jimenez/Alomar who at least could hit a little?
