I, for one, will be happy next season when Beltran ISN'T in a Royal Uni. Lets just hope a team like the Tigers doesn't grab him. That would be pretty sweet if we got him, but that would probably mean no Mags.

 

Brings up an interesting question: How much will Beltran want? And, who would you rather have, Mags or Beltran?

 

I'd probably take Mags, he's the face of our team - I hope they get done resigning him soon.

I think Adkins could be a good closer. He did it in the minors. I like Politte in the setup role.

Like I said earlier, I HATE to lock Damaso into the 9th. He is way to imporant in the 6th-8th innings to pigeonhole. That is why is he has been so valuable to the pen... he is always in the game at the important time, not just the 9th inning.

Adkins would be an ideal closer... Good fastball and a good Slider, he could end up being what Billy Koch was supposed to be.

I'd take Beltran because he plays CF and is fast as hell. Close call though.
