April 17, 200421 yr Bottom of the 4th. -Baldelli flies out to Timo. -Huff grounds out to Gload. -Cruz Jr. with a deeeeeeep flyout to Timo.
April 17, 200421 yr 1-2-3 for Schoenweis, so far a high quality start for Scott. Jose-Maggs-Frank in the top of 5th good chance for more runs.
April 17, 200421 yr Texsox this is the closest I could find. When you get to the page click on the link for leadoff walksWalks found this info searching dogpile.com Interesting. My guess was that it didn't matter how the leadoff guy reaches first.
April 17, 200421 yr Top of the 5th. -Jose K's swinging. -Magglio just misses a homer to Crawford. -Frank walks AGAIN . New nickname, Frank "The Big Eye" Thomas. -Lee takes a walk . Come on Rossy! ~~Mound Visit #2~~ -Gload HBP AGAINNN... in the feet again! Bases juiced for Timo again. DP won't work again. -Timo grounds out to 3rd. Bah! First Pitch Swinging again. :puke
April 17, 200421 yr awesome ozzie commercial, i love ozzie guillen First I've seen it. Funny when he trys to throw the ball into his other hand and completely misses it.
April 17, 200421 yr Bottom of the 5th. -Perez grounds out to Willie. Schoeneweis with a measly 50 pitches. -Lugo K's swinging. -Fordyce pops out to Gload in foul territory. Another 1-2-3 for Scotty.
April 17, 200421 yr awesome ozzie commercial, i love ozzie guillen I thought it was pretty pointless. Oh well.
April 17, 200421 yr Awesome Ozzie commercial. Also, that 40% guess about the leadoff walks was pretty damn good. According to http://www.diamond-mind.com/newsletter/en021213.htm from 1974-2002, 39.9% of leadoff walks scored. Another 1-2-3 inning for Scott.
April 17, 200421 yr Bottom of the 5th. Schoeneweis with a measly 50 pitches. Very effective. Ozzie will surely let him go all the way, unless he runs into trouble.
April 17, 200421 yr Top of the 6th. -Uribe K's Looking. -Sandy hits another, which should have been caught, ducksnort, but is thrown out at 2nd. 2 outs. Zambrano at 101 Pitches. -WIllie K's Looking.
April 17, 200421 yr but is thrown out at 2nd. No knock on Sandy at all, I didn't see the play and have no idea why he went for two, whether it was his or another's decision or this was legit - but this getting tossed out on the bases is happening too much there is a fine line between aggressive base running and stupidity we can't keep giving away 2-4 outs a game
April 17, 200421 yr Valentin with a high throw on what should have been a DP. He is really struggling with his throwing.
April 17, 200421 yr Bottom of the 6th. -Sanchez with a base hit right up the middle. -Crawford with a tailor made DP ball to Jose, but a high throw doesn't get Crawford. 1 out. -Rolls flies out to Maggs. -Baldelli flies out to Maggs. I tell you, Schoeney has been awesome so far. All the right picthes. He hasn't been getting the 1st pitch strike often, but he's been effective.
April 17, 200421 yr Scho pitches out of it. Since his first 2 innings this year, he's making KW look like a genius.
April 17, 200421 yr No knock on Sandy at all, I didn't see the play and have no idea why he went for two, whether it was his or another's decision or this was legit - but this getting tossed out on the bases is happening too much there is a fine line between aggressive base running and stupidity we can't keep giving away 2-4 outs a game Sandy figured it was gonna be caught, because the second basemen called it, so he stopped running as hard while he was getting into 1st base, then noticed that no one caught it and turned on the wheels again. If he hadn't slown down, then 2nd base was his.
April 17, 200421 yr Pro-Valentin - it was Crawford running to first so he rushed the throw. Con-Valentin - he's done this, (run it to the bag, from fairly far away, and then throw it too high to first) a couple times already this year. Oh well, still ended up being another good, effective inning for Schoenweis.
