Great use of Marte. Shut this down before they got going. Worry about the 9th later. Do we leave in Marte?

Sexcellent

what are you doing while you are watching the game?

about Schoenweis - It was a high-quality outing. He was hitting his spots and was very much "on". He wasn't dominating (I don't think Schoenweis is ever really a "dominating" pitcher) but he certainly gets an A for efficency. He struggled in the first, gave up a single and a walk, but then got the DP to get out of it. He then was completly smooth and strong all the way until the 7th. From 1 out in the 3rd through the 6th inning, he retired 11 of 12. Very nice play by Uribe to end the 8th. 4-1 Sox going to the 9th.

Give Billy a save opportunity. If Ozzie has any "faith" he would give him a chance with a three run lead.

I suspect Shoe will give us 6 or 8 starts like this, maybe another 10 or 12 that will be OK and God help us on the rest

if i see koch in the ninth i will........ :puke

Well of course when he comes out today and dominates it degrades my argument.  :D

I said that before I knew he got the double play by the way. :D

Not such a great 2 strike hitter is he Hawk?

Jose K's for the first out.

Can't get it done in the field, can't get it done at the plate.

Love watching our baserunners taking the extra base on base hits.

Twins beating the Royals 7-4 in the 4th inning.

Kevin Appier got shelled and gave up all 7 runs in the 1st 3 innings. Denny Reyes is now pitching.

bad frank!

Frank Ks. I guess he just needs a raise.

Usually I like hearing Strike out Sosa
