April 20, 200422 yr I think it's cause Les Habitantes is French for the Canadiens. Edit: Not french for the Canadiens, but the inhabitants, citizens. It's also why the middle of their logo is an H.

I was very surprised to learn that was the first time the Canadiens had EVER done that. Although I guess that when they were killin' everybody back in the day, they were probably never DOWN 3 games to 1..... I do have to give them credit, though - a 3-game win streak with the backs against the wall shows heart. I just wish Thornton had played like he can. I know the injury was slowing him down, but he is SO important to that team, it seems they can't win without him yet.

From some of the noise coming out of Carolina, if there is a lockout they would likely move or might even disappear forever... Oh yeah, and if management was more concerned with wins rather than punishing Irbe for some imaginary 'dissing,' they probably would have made it (by the skin of their teeth, but still there).
