May 30, 200421 yr I really hate to see this guy get screwed by sending him up and down like he's some rookie or something. He's done a lot of good for this team & has been effective. I think he deserves better. Thoughts?

May 31, 200421 yr If Wunsch is not one of the 11 or 12 best pitcher's in the organization, and they have apparently determined that he is not, then he doesn't need to be on the ML roster. No room for sentiment when you have a chance to win.

I would love for him to be given a chance to play regular, probably for another team, preferably in the NL. I've always been a fan.
May 31, 200421 yr I see Kelly being traded. With Marte + Cotts ahead of him on the Sox, and Arnaldo Munoz as back up, Kelly is expendable or good insurance in AAA in case of injury.

I agree with your statement about fandom. However, that should not be part of the equation when an organization is eveluating it's team.
June 1, 200421 yr I remember reading someone posting that he would be traded before being sent back down... Guess that hunch was wrong.
June 1, 200421 yr I wouldn't be so quick to trade him. Can't have enough good lefties. And as soon as somebody gets hurt, we'll wish he was around. He'd be more valuable if he was a bit more effective against righties, but we shouldn't just give away a veteran lefty with a low contract.
