Was just checking some of the Class A stats and noticed Stumm hasn't gotten in a game for quite a while. He must be hurt, anyone know?

 

Also noticed that Andy Gonzalez's batting average is not great, but he's walked more times than whiffed.

Correct. But he also has 14.. yes.. 14 errors!! One person that noone really talks about much in Winston (prob. because of Sweeney, Anderson etc..) and is having a decent season is Pedro Lopez. The thing about him is his defense as well (9 errors) but he's only 20 so he can improve it.

I've seen Pedro play a few times and he's made me do this--> a couple times. Web gem type s***, kinda surprising to see so many errors.

He probably has a lot of errors b/c he has a lot of range, and tries to make plays on balls that most guys can't get to, or he's just inconsistent defensively. I've never seen him play so my guess is as good as anyone's

He's probably like Valentin. Treamendous range, but misses the routine ones. Can't say though cause I haven't seen him play.

Similar to Sweeney, Borchard, Anderson he was struggling and then got hot. Granted Borchard and Anderson have been hitting since they got hot, but Sweeney's average is .270 and he hasn't been doing all that great since his hot streak. Lopez was really scuffling and he has been hot of late. I think he could really become one of our better middle infield prospects (not saying much) with a good year this year. He is only 20 as you said and is supposed to have great speed.
