June 13, 200421 yr Wow, that's outstanding. I didn't realize there were that many people there today. I guess I am getting used to it now.
June 13, 200421 yr I wanna see this every night. School is out. The weather is great. The team is competitive. There's no excuses not to get our ass's to the park.
June 13, 200421 yr Not a chance that will happen, not till September anyways, but the Sox need to keep winning, and just keep a buzz going. You have to make people excited to see the team, and a game like tonight, where Shingo was all the buzz, will keep people coming. You're right. If we do stay in contention all the BANDWAGONERS will show up and claim they've supported the Sox all year.

June 13, 200421 yr Hate to say it, but it really helps that the Cubs are out on the West Coast battling Anaheim too. Its definately a difference. The Sox are playing some good NL teams and its at a time where they have the city to themselves. This could be a great way to add some new Sox fans or swing people back to the southside. As much as some of us may not like bandwagoners, if it brings in better players and a higher payroll while helping the Sox players and fans get more pumped up, then I'm all for it.

The Cubs being out of the city on the west coast trip is definitely helping. Really good to see a big crowd out at the ballpark tonight. Still there shouldn't be any excuses, even if it's not a half price night. We're playing a good drawing team in Atlanta that has some good stars, it's a Saturday perfect time for every1 to see a ballgame, and the weather is good. Getting ur ass to the game and supporting the team helps the bottom line immensely, and that will translate back onto the field with a better team.
