Upcoming Series for the Twins

Featured Replies

The Twins play the Expos and then Milwaukee. By my calculations, Sheets pitches against the Twins. I wonder if that's something the management is waiting on: to see how he handles our biggest competition. It'd be nice to see him pitch a good game against them and then to acquire him the next day...

I'll believe it when I see it.I stand by my board name.

:fyou Reinsdorf!!

We are not gonna get sheets but it would still be nice to see him pitch a good game against the twins.

I will be at all the Twins games in Milwaukee with my sox gear on!!!

No twinkie dome this week, f***ers.

Are we ever going to get the easy schedule?

Why should we have to face all the hard teams and having Minny be able to beat on pathetic teams.

Hope Sheets goes in the series.Take 2 or 3.The Sox need all the

breaks they can get.

Sad part is,the Yankmees may have won the division by then and may decide to

rest their regulars.I hope not!! :fyou the Metro-doom!!

A couple points:

1) Milwaukee is NOT a push-over this season. Especially if one of those games involves Sheets.

2) Minny lost their season series with Tampa, so maybe they're the team that plays down to the level of competition this year. Give them as many lower-level teams as possible, in that case.

3) Take a look at the Sox's schedule in August and Sept. Now smile, and think back to the gauntlet they had to run last year at that time. Not this year...........

All those games against the Royals late in the season will be like playing a AAA team at that point...

:fyou  Reinsdorf!!

How does Reinsdorf apply to anything in that post?

Wondering the same thing.

Everything negative that happens, or anything that doesn't happen, to the Sox, that affects them in a bad way, it's always JR's fault, no matter anyway, anyhow. It's all JR's fault...

Couldn't have said it better myself.

LMAO just wait till the second half, Minny will have to deal with the Yanks and I believe the A's and Angels... may not be correct on that. We also haven't even played a game against the Tigers yet, but they probably won't be the pushover they were last year.

I remember last year, and the Tigers weren't a pushover for us then!!

Inn August

Minny - Angles, Oakland, Seattle, Tribe,Yankees, Tribe, Rangers, and the Angles again.

Sox- Royals, Clevland, Royals, Boston,Detriot, Boston,Detriot, Clevland.

Ill take it. :D

:headbang

Me too, I'd rather have the easy schedule in the heat of a pennant race than in the beginning of the year.

Look on the bright side, while we've been playing the hard teams and Minnesota has been playing the easy teams, we've kept pace, and we're pretty much tied for this division.
