I think first and foremost the staff isn't as good as they performe early on. Secondly, as Jester and I have said the roof is playing a factor, lot of balls are sailing out that last year weren't. With that being said the pitchers still need to do a better job and try to keep the ball down in the zone.

They are inconsistent for sure. But, Showtime, the Sox management claims that roof doesn't affect the ball. You obviously disgree.

I like Jamie Burke... everytime he is in the line up he seems to do some pretty good things offensively.

Well thats the only explanation I can see for all these fly balls just floating out of here. I mean how many times have we seen mutli homer games from both teams and it leaves you shaking your head?

nice 1-2-3 inning by Buehrle! :headbang

bad news, twins won

Top of 7th:

Belliard- ground out to 3B

Vizquel- Fly out to RF

Lawton- ground out to Pitcher

5-3 bad guys going into bottom of 7th

Well, they've said they we're told by the firm doing the work that it wouldn't have an effect. I'm not an expert, but lowering the roof has a big effect on the wind and how it helps or hurts the ball.

Either way the staff needs to get it in gear.

Sox could be in some deep s*** if they keep losing to the Indians and then face the Cubs and if they can't beat the Cubs. The Sox will be looking at the Twins and Indians up above them.

Let's go A-row! :headbang

I am not disagreeing with you at all. I have to wonder too. It is a bit ridiculous when you hear the stat that the Sox hurlers are second in most homers allowed.

I just kind of wonder if they put wind deflectors of some sort on the roof if that would help a little?

Rowand grounds out to third 1 out.

btw, the D-Rays streak is over... Blue Jays won 2-1 in 10 innings

2 outs , of course now we get on base

THOMAS!!!! RUN YOU PANSY!!!!!

My god did he launch that ball. How did that not go out? Still, Thomas should of ran it out for the Triple.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That ball was gone!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot stand when guys dont run it out when they hit the ball

2 outs , of course now we get on base
