July 4th hangover? We need a game thread boyz

But the two previous hitters walked, why not take just one pitch?

Right - but Rodriguez' thoughts are probably like 'I'm not getting my curveball over right now, and the only way it's going to be effective is if I get ahead in the count. Gotta throw a firstball fastball for a strike.'

Come on Neal... two on, nobody out.

This game is over. Out it in the books. We are 1.5 games out of first.

Neal Cotts is horrible, go back to AAA please

I like how they stress Donnely warming in the pen, then casually skip over the fact that Percival is in there as well.

Sometimes, when two people walk before you, the best pitch you get to hit is the first one since the pitcher will put it in the heart of the plate to not get behind

Trust me, the logic works both ways....I have seen so MANY hits on the first pitch after two walks that score runs....considering Lee smoked it, it proves my point....he got unlucky.... :banghead

That's what I was trying to say and when the pitcher is a guy like K-Rod the sentiment is all the more true. K-Rod has nasty stuff but at that point he's thinking one thing and one thing only -- I have to throw a strike. And, in that situation a hitter as good as CLEE should be looking to smoke it.

You are forgetting Ozzieball.

Cotts is great when he comes out of the pen to get out of jams, but whenever he starts an inning he does not do well at all.

OMG...

Bases loaded...

OH s***.

Bases loaded.

Bases packed...0 outs... :chimp

Safe all around!

Last i checked, we have lost 3 straight games and have barely scored anything. That isnt ozzieball

yes I understand that but the situation had the pressure on the pitcher, bot 8th bases loaded 2 run lead, with a good hitter at-bat. You gotta make the pitcher play your game, hell he could have thrown a wild pitch...but we'll never know...

Grandslam...right here...

Neal Cotts is officialy, Neal Botch

Grandslam...right here...

s***... Are you kidding me?

Neal hasn't been the same since that Twins start. They did f*** him over. But he has to be mentally stronger than that.

Why the hell can't Bartolo pitch this series? :crying

s***... Are you kidding me?

not yet, I am making a prediction

s***... Are you kidding me?

Yes - for now.

This is f***ing ridiculas. Walker is not doing his damn job.

Just walk a run in, good god.

Please remember that us out-of-towners have a feed that is at least a minute behind what ya'll are seeing. So, don't mess with us like that.

He will obviously walk him.
