Does Mags need glasses?

Featured Replies

When I see Mags at bat on TV, he is always squinting and blinking rapidly, like he can't see clearly. Anyone else notice this? If he DOES need glasses, just imagine how much better his avr. would be if he cold actually SEE the ball! :D

Its because of his contacts.....cuz his eyes like get dried out or something so he quints and its so cute......lol

Yea Mags has clinical dry-eye. I heard Hawk talk about it once earlier this year. It's an actual diagnosis or something.

Let me make a statement here- Who the hell cares what Maggs looks like?

If it affects the way he sees the ball, then i do.

Whenever Uribe looks to Cora, he always squints big time. He may want to look into what Troy Glaus did in the off season, if indeed his vision has faded slightly. It helped Glaus out a lot.

you've never seen maggs do this, he's always blinked his eyed a lot when up to bat or whenever. I'm suprised you haven't noticed this earlier.

no, does not cause damage or end careers, one just needs a lot of eye lubricant

No wonder he wants that 14 million per year..

He's Venezuelan, look at Miguel Cabrera, very similar. I don't think there's anything wrong with his eyes. If light is in your eyes you are gonna squint and when he squints he looks like hes having trouble seeing. He is fine.

Behind the counter or the drive up window? :o :o :o

I have noticed it earlier, just never decided to post about it until now. And SEALgep, you are right, I have also noticed Uribe doing that as well when looking down to third.

Reinsdorf has hidden Magglio's glasses. Something about the fine print in the contract offer.

ok well if any player has eye problems i think they have enough money to pay for that lasik eye surgery crap....
