They seemed to play it sort of safe with him, and I'll bet anything that given his competitive nature, Prior was probably saying that he was feeling better and ready to go. Dusty overuses guys, that's pretty much undeniable, but a return from the DL involves a lot more people than just him.

That is pretty much what I was going to say. Without those 130-140 pitch outings last year, I doubt Prior's elbow blows up in the first place.

He's gets so much credit for his teams doing well, but he overworks his pitching staffs, which f***s him and his team in the long run, and it looks like thats what's happening now.

July 16, 200421 yr They said everything went fine, but there is one more test that the results havent come back yet..... I think that test isnt going to be all that positive.... just a hunch. Probably the bone scan
