July 16, 200421 yr Frank vs Jose What do you guys think? I see no problem with this especially after what was said about Jon Rauch earlier in the season. Frank should have been there with the team. I don't see any reason why he wasn't.
July 16, 200421 yr First of all Jose shouldn't be taking this public. Second of all, unless Frank is recieving treatment somewhere specific, he should be with the team.

July 16, 200421 yr There was a three page thread on WSI about this. It reminded me of why I don't post there very often...
July 16, 200421 yr Author First of all Jose shouldn't be taking this public. Second of all, unless Frank is recieving treatment somewhere specific, he should be with the team. Why was it ok for the Rauch thing to be taken public, but not ok to take the Frank thing public. I didn't here anyone complaining about it when it happened to Rauch. But now that it is Frank it just isn't right? I don't like that. I don't like double standards.
July 16, 200421 yr There was a three page thread on WSI about this. It reminded me of why I don't post there very often... What's wrong with that thread.? I'll give you 10 to 1 odds that this one is more disgusting.
July 16, 200421 yr He is right, I am tired of Frank's "me" first attitude. LOL... surprise, surprise.
July 16, 200421 yr Author Yea.. like Maggs was. rolleyeyes.gif In the article it says Maggs was. He did stay with the team. Maybe I am not understanding, and this is sarcasm.
July 16, 200421 yr LOL... surprise, surprise. Sorry I wouldn't even blink if he retired. Can't stand him.

July 16, 200421 yr In the article it says Maggs was. He did stay with the team. Maybe I am not understanding, and this is sarcasm. Uh.. no. Maggs was not on the bench during his stint in the DL. He was in the suite. out on the fan deck.. in Florida. Frank was not on the bench for 2 games.. Maggs was in Florida for 2 weeks. And when he was in Chicago he was not on the bench...
July 16, 200421 yr What's wrong with that thread.? I'll give you 10 to 1 odds that this one is more disgusting. Just certain things said. There are certain posters there that I stay away from and he was in that thread. It wasn't horrible, terrible, just things I've come to expect from the site. I read there about once a week, but I refrain from posting because I know I will get into it with someone, I invariably do.
July 16, 200421 yr This thread has all the makings of 10 pages of constant b****ing at each other because of Frank. I'll sit back and watch.
July 16, 200421 yr Author Umm.. helllooooo... Please don't lump us all into the same group. Who is lumping Steff? Where did I lump everyone into a group? I'm sorry if I insuated anything.

In the article it says Maggs was there on the bench supporting his team, even though he knew he couldn't play. "It's not acceptable as a player," Valentin said. "Magglio went on the DL and he knew he couldn't do anything, but he was in the dugout having fun with the players. Frank is Frank. He thought there was nothing wrong with that. Now he has to deal with the front office. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen."
July 16, 200421 yr Who is lumping Steff? Where did I lump everyone into a group? I'm sorry if I insuated anything. You said.. I don't agree that the Rauch thing should have been public, and I did complain about it.

July 16, 200421 yr 2 games prior to be putting on the DL. In the article it says Maggs was there on the bench supporting his team, even though he knew he couldn't play. Then how was he dressed and on the fan deck with Kenny..?? In the suite with Jerry? Walking on the concourse taking pictures with fans? How was he in Florida resolving his "INS" issue..? I don't care what it says. I saw with my own 2 eyes that he wasn't on the bench for most of his time on the DL.
July 16, 200421 yr ok then, sorry, I just didn't see any complaining about it at the time. You might want to check out the thread about it.. plenty of yelling about it there.
July 16, 200421 yr i do remember numerous occasions where rooney and farmer mentioned maggs was rehabbing elsewhere or coolin' on the fan deck with kenny. i remember him being absent from the dugout for more than just 2 days.
July 16, 200421 yr No offense but this is just the biased media taking another quote out of context to make Frank look bad. For one thing the recommended course of treatment was to stay off the ankle for about a week while the shot has a chance to take effect, how do we know that isn't what he was doing. If Frank laying down somewhere else is going to help him get better faster then sitting, standing, and walking out in the dugout then I say let him stay home and rest. Shame on you for letting the biased Scrubbie media get you all worked up when you know they are just covering their own ass over CY Prior's new injury GET WELL SOON FRANK!
