#9 is not that great for the team we have. We are expected to be anywhere from 1 through 5 for the preseason poll. But its Katz who put us at #9 so I dont take that as anything. My God does ESPN need some new CBB analysist. It doesnt get much worse than Dukie V/Katz/Biased Bilas.

I'm glad he rated us #9; I hope when the official rankings come out, we're not higher than that either. I don't want this team getting too big of heads when they see how good we are, and not living up to expectations like the last time we started off ranked in the Top 5.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. But, they need new NBA analysts even more. All of those guys suck. ESPN's NBA guys are way worse than any other sport ESPN covers.

UConn will be good again, but they will probably struggle somewhat early on after losing Gordon and Okafor. They are alot like Texas, very very talented, but younger players will have to step up big time. Rudy Gay is one of the top 5 incoming freshman for UConn.

Just for anyone who cares to know, here's my list of "diaper dandies" for next year.

I'm only gonna pick the top 5, regardless of position.

Rudy Gay, UConn

Marvin Williams, UNC

DJ White, IU (everyone just loves to see him play down low)

Malik Hairston, Oregon (because he will be the main man at Oregon)

Glen Davis, LSU (because he will be unstoppable down low)

But overall Kentucky has the best class with Rajon Rondo at PG, Joe Crawford at SG, and Randolph Morris at C. All 3 will be very good.

I care about college bball all year long.

I guess that is the product of going to school in the mecca of  college basketball.

I will take that UNC bet.

Let's calm down before we start labeling Lawrence :sleep Kansas :sleep the mecca of college basketball. If memory serves, both championships reside in Storrs, Connecticut.
