I hope, for the Cards sake, there isn't one, but if there is one it will be after the game is out of hand.

You can bet if the opportunity presents itself that Tony L will have a pitcher throw at one of the Cubs stars. Most likely Sammy or Moistes. The guy is always trying to even the score.

Cards should throw at someone if the opportunity is there without a doubt

I have to agree with a friend of mine here at work. The Umps are going to warn both benches before the game and launch the pitcher immediately if he hits somene. I don't think there will be any brawls. The game is too important to the coob and St. Louis is on a huge roll and know that they will bury the coob with a win today. I'm pretty sure that the league has already threatened the teams with suspensions if it gets out of hand today. Neither team can afford to lose players at this stage.

Hopefully, the cards get up by about 10 runs. That will make it more interesting.

No way can you toss a pitcher just for hitting someone. It's easy enough to hit someone on accident. You can't just put a blanket clause down that says if you hit someone your ejected. No one would even be able to throw inside at all.

Something will be said...but i don't think you can put that rule into effect.

Didn't Garland get tossed for something like that a few months back?

Sure they can... You see it when one team drills a guy, the ump warns both benches the opponent comes out and drills the first team and that guy is launched immediately. It has happened before and I guarantee they aren't going to let it get out of hand today. They know the history and rivalry.

I understand that it takes away the inside, but it is gone for both teams. Ya' gotta remember this is the new wuss baseball era. Not the old days when a guy would get drilled if he just dug in too much or didn't run around the bases fast enough. Hell, guys would expect to be drilled the at bat after they hit a home run. Now a guy gets pitched inside and he looks back at the pitcher ready to charge.

:fthecubs :fthecubs :fthecubs Cubs suck. The dumb f***ers b**** and moan about stupis s*** when their own stupid asss pitcher starts throwing at people.

I really think something will happen. The Cubs lose and they’ll be 10 games back. Sammy will give every Cub player and himself a cork bat and start going nuts.

This is baseball, Cubbies. Live with it!

Tony - that pic is awsome! LMAO!

Just thought this picture was funny, has nothing to do with the topic. :D

Strikes

Out

Swinging

Again

Well Morris threw behind patterson and the umpires warned both teams, so we might not see anything happen but who knows.

Matt Morris = Bad.

Gives up 6 in the 2nd. :fthecubs

Make that 7. :fyou

Bastard!!!!

I saw the first two innings. Morris throwing behind patterson was great, too bad he missed em though.

Morris was horrible, left everything over the middle of the plate for the entire inning.

Albert Pujols = Good

Solo Homer

Ok, I'm done here. I've spent way too much time talking about the Cubs today.

It's now 8-5, nobody out, bases loaded. 6th inning. WOW

f***in Cards only get damn run.

Pujols homers, 8-7

Cmon Cards

Sanders struck out to end the top of the 7. And then Chip says two two and then after Sanders strikes out he says ta ta. Chip is a huge asshole who always be littles other people.

$20 half of the people asked, "Who is this lady?" when they announced Jodi Davis was signing!

Boom!!!

Tie Game!
