Shingo Night Giveaway

Featured Replies

Tonight, during the broadcast, Rooney brought up a great idea for a White Sox giveaway during one of their games. He said they should create a Shingo Night, where all fans are given a GONG as they enter!!!

That's some funny stuff, but I'd be all for it!!! I'm sure Shingo would be for it too.

Shingo's the man!

I love Shingo.

That's a great idea! I bet that would be more ticket sales right there.. ;)

I love Shingo.

You do

I love Shingo.

Ditto.

omg.

I was thinking that a "Shingo Frisbee" would be more economical and appropriate.

As opposed to the North Side, where it seems like all fans are given a BONG as they enter. rolleyeyes.gif

they don't give bongs out at wrigley...they give out prozac.

:lolhitting :lolhitting I've actually heard hard hats are the new give aways.

One of my friends mentioned the mini-freesbee idea last week, and i found it to be a pretty cool idea.

There doesn't seem to be any reason not to do the "Shingo Frisbee" outside of the fact that you might have a handful of drunks throwing these things onto the field during the game.

The gong idea is clever and all, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be at a game with 10,000+ people banging gongs all night. In the words of Todd Flanders:

"Ow, my freaking ears."
