July 27, 200421 yr While it may not be right for Beastly to use Soxtalk.com in his letter, anyone other than Jason asking him not to put that is completely wrong in their request. In my eyes, since he owns the site, he is the only one that can say that, not admins, mods or your average-joe poster. That's really the only problem with this thread. The other criticisms about his credibility and such are completely valid, but other people telling him not to use soxtalk besides Jason, well, really has no point. Well. Sorry Aboz.. but until this place becomes one of limited and restricted speech I'll post my thoughts and comments. You're my friend, but I won't kiss the rear ( - :puke - rolleyeyes.gif ) on this one. You, IMO - of course - are wrong.
July 27, 200421 yr Well. Sorry Aboz.. but until this place becomes one of limited and restricted speech I'll post my thoughts and comments. July 27, 200421 yr Author To follow up with the letter. Dear Mr. Meister, I am writing in response to your recent e-mail regarding the behavior of other fans and the rules for seeking autographs at the ballpark. The White Sox want to assure that our ballpark is free from foul or abusive language from our fans. If ever the behavior or language of another fan is detracting from your enjoyment of the game, I would encourage you to notify a Guest Service Representative (on your aisle) or the Guest Relations Booth (behind homeplate on all levels of the ballpark) such that we may address the issue rather than attempting to approach the other fan directly. When our guests communicate problems to us during the games rather than after the game, we are able to correct the situation immediately and make the ballpark more comfortable for all our guests. Our rules for seeking autographs are below (from our website): AUTOGRAPHS Is it possible to seek autographs before a game? Fans may seek autographs by the home and visiting dugouts from the time the gates open until 25 minutes before game time. White Sox players are scheduled to sign autographs for kids 13 and under prior to each Kids Day, held on select Sundays during the season. Autographed bats should be checked in at a Guest Relations booth (behind home plate on all levels) after the autograph session. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to write again. Otherwise, I hope that you will have a chance to return to the ballpark again this summer! Sincerely, Anne Wheat Manager of Guest Services

It is good to know that I have shown improvement around here because I really love soxtalk and want to do anything to help the boards, whether it is to advertise it, or post to help my fellow men out here.
