WilliamTell
This might have been posted somewhere else on the site, but I didn't see it. Anyways, I don't like Cleveland at all but winning 22-0 against any team is down right crazy, especially to the best team in the A.L. record wise. I do give props to Cleveland for this and I think Esteban Loaiza gave up 6 runs, not quite sure though.
chimpy2121
he gave up 6 on 8 hits over 3 innings...wow....
WSoxShuf
The yankees are in alot of trouble. They have zero pitching, btw thanks for Contreras yes, Loaiza got shelled as a reliever too. YES network said that Delgado last week went up to Loaiza and said you really should use your fastball more.

WilliamTell
feel bad for a Yankee, thats disgusting. I feel bad for a former White Sox, not the rest of the team. And I only feel bad for him becuase he's been terrible this year. I'm glad the Red Sox can win the division still though.

witesoxfan
You know what's even sadder about that score? It's an asswhooping in football too. Well, maybe not an asswhooping...but it's pretty damn close to one. Another thing...I usually do not like seeing the Wahoos win...but when they beat the Yankees 22-0, they are my second favorite team.

DBAHO
Im still young, so this is why I ask, but has there EVER been a pitcher who has been 2nd in Cy Young Voting the year before, then the season after be close to being relased?? And are we not giving KW enough credit for the deal?? I know Contreas has a little bloated contract, but when he is "ON" he has some of the best stuff in the bigs, while Estaban cant seem to give up less than 4 a game... Interesting question, I think most of us going into the season knew in heads that Loaiza was a 1 season wonder. Even early on though, he was still pretty good (the Tampa game comes to mind), but this could easily be the most one - sided deal in a long time. The only thing the Yankees got from this deal was saving money from Contreras' contract, but when has that ever been a problem for Ol' Steinbrenner, BTW I'd hate to be in his office today. southsider2k5
I feel bad or Loaiza, this has gotten hidious. Me too. The guy was a pro during his time in Chicago, and I wish him nothing but the best... but as for the Yankees, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
