September 3, 200421 yr I don't get it at all. Why would you storm this school? Did the Russians learn their lesson with the theater? They are talking about 100+ dead kid possibly, and to me, you have to get them out safely, even if it means waiting longer. I know you don't want to negotiate with terrorists or appease them, but you have got to think about the safety of these children first. This is sooooooo sad. for all of these families.

The resulting detonation collapsed the roof, so the Russians had to assume that the terrorists were executing hostages. The Russians were right to storm the gymnasium after the bomb detonated. Apparently 20 of the 28 or so terrorists were killed by Russian security forces and Spetznaz.

I'm going to do something i always wanted to do and quote myself earlier in this thread: Muslims represent over 1/5th of the worlds population, so yes they will account for at least 1/5th of the terrorist acts. I think if you did some research you would find that terrorist acts come from every religion. An example would be liberation theology in south america. It is not supported by the catholic church, yet their members commit terrorist acts for religious gain. I4E you only care about radical islamist terrorism.
