September 5, 200421 yr Why couldn't this team hit like this in July and August :headshake They weren't facing Ryan Franklin and Seattle?
September 5, 200421 yr Why couldn't this team hit like this in July and August :headshake Yeah, because every night you face a pitcher with a five ERA... :rolly
September 5, 200421 yr Yeah, because every night you face a pitcher with a five ERA... :rolly They have enough and not done much with it. Just to name a couple remember brian anderson and scott elarton.
September 5, 200421 yr They weren't facing Ryan Franklin and Seattle? Still...they are all Major Leaguers I believe :rolly
September 5, 200421 yr Still...they are all Major Leaguers I believe :rolly ??? What's your friggin' point? Darrell May is a major leaguer too...
September 5, 200421 yr ??? What's your friggin' point? Darrell May is a major leaguer too... Point is they have made s***ty pitchers look great many times this year.
September 5, 200421 yr Sox will win 5-3 tonight. And for now on for the rest of the year, I'm predicting a Willie Harris home run even if he's not playing. YES, I called a Willie Harris home run, I don't have to call one anymore. 2nd time was a charm. Ichiro is 4 for 4
September 5, 200421 yr Point is they have made s***ty pitchers look great many times this year. Without their three and four hitters... I was talking about Knuckle's comment of 'Why can't we do this every night?' or something to that effect. When your team is built around the longball, and your best HR hitters are out, you're team is going to be 'off' a lot of nights...

When your team is built around the longball, and your best HR hitters are out, you're team is going to be 'off' a lot of nights... Consistently in the last four years they have not hit really bad pitchers well.
September 5, 200421 yr Consistently in the last four years they have not hit really bad pitchers well. Like I said - they're built around the longball. Hmm - I didn't know Bajerneau (sp?) had an 'H' in his name. Is it Bajenaru, Bajearneau, or Baherhnau?
September 5, 200421 yr Wow - Ichiro has the most interesting base hits. That one, a high, high chopper over Gload... Damn, he's an awesome player...
September 5, 200421 yr Baj needs to learn not to throw a strike every pitch, lol. He was getting ahead in the count and not using it. Hopefully when the catchers learn his stuff that won't be a problem. As of now the run isn't earned because of the error by Willie.
September 5, 200421 yr As of now the run isn't earned because of the error by Willie. That was an E? Wow, some guys wouldn't have gotten to it...
September 5, 200421 yr That was an E? Wow, some guys wouldn't have gotten to it... Apparently no, but that should have been an error. That was a slow ball.
September 5, 200421 yr Apparently no, but that should have been an error. That was a slow ball. Not really, that would have been a very tough play for really any secondbaseman...
September 5, 200421 yr Shingo bringing back the days of Billy Koch... Let's finish this one off, Shingo!
September 5, 200421 yr YES! Game ends when Bret Boone is tagged out at third. Look at him, crying like a little b****!
