did willie pull a carlos, and admire his shot? or did he like take a curtain call or something?

I don't understand the unprofessional comment.

No, I heard this comment on Friday, the day before the homer.

Comments after the game from Willie and Oz

"I expect stuff like that out of myself defensively," Harris said. "I definitely wasn't trying to hit the home run, but it was good to the goose egg out of the way."

"We win every time Willie Harris hits a home run," added Guillen with a laugh. "The home runs, especially at the beginning, really seemed to be our fuel tonight."

haha they do win every time Willie hits a home run, 1-0 of course.

Looks like everything is pretty good in that comment. :huh

Yeah I don't get the Ozzie thing. I wonder if he was mad about something else.

Yes, but that is not the comment Chisoxfan was talking about.

Yea me either, by the comment of him kinda having a small laugh about it makes it a little better, but there was definatly some sort of attitude from oz there after the homerun. I hope its a misconception and he was just trying to stay focused or something, but add the pist off look ozzie had with the comment that chisoxfan heard on the radio, and there might be more to the story than we know. ;)

There probably is more to the story than we know. But I won't worry about it until we know what happened, if we even do ever get to know what happened.

I didn't view the Ozzie/Willie thing in a negative way at all. The way I saw it was like Ozzie might have said something to Willie like "you won't hit one out this year" and Willie was saying to him "you see that s*** beeotch"....kind of the way two friends would be in each others face but not disrespecting each other. I've heard all year that Ozzie has a very good rapport with all of his players and I think that Ozzie looked pissed because he was just saying to himself "yea, yea, now I owe this guy a steak dinner" or something like that. Willie seems to me like a very professional ballplayer and the last thing he would be doing is getting in his managers face after hitting a homerun. On the other hand if he was being unprofessional and trying to show up Ozzie we could see Willie be shipped off much like the last unprofessional we had, Rauch. Dunno though.

What shocked me the most is that Willie hit the HR off a left hander.
