September 12, 200421 yr I told you this months ago....your chance at a national title would end on Sept. 11th!!!! 28-20!!! What a fabulous day at the stadium!!!! GO IRISH!!!!
September 12, 200421 yr Everyone really went on a limb predicting ND to beat Michigan. What if Michigan won, we would of heard nothing. Nothing to lose with a prediction like that.

September 12, 200421 yr Haha, well, I'm just going to keep my mouth shut on this one....you know the whole Rutgers thing and all.
September 12, 200421 yr I thought Michigan was going to win, I guess I was wrong. Like I said else where, 1/6 of my family went to Notre Dame, so I guess I can feel good either way Go Irish :rolly

I REALLY doubt that if Michigan won we would hear nothing. Michigan fans are some of the cockiest sons-a-b****es on earth.
September 12, 200421 yr Kansas State, Nebraska, Michigan and Florida State all take it the chin. Defending FSU, losing to the #5 ranked team in OT isn't exactly taking it in the chin.

Luckily they haven't had a whole lot to cheer about the last 10 years(one good season and a couple of wins against Michigan).
September 12, 200421 yr congrats but im still pissed and then the bears like throwing salt in an open wound
September 12, 200421 yr To say that you've got nothing to lose by picking the underdog, then why does anyone ever pick the underdog? It doesn't really matter, I don't care if anyone thinks I'm a genius for picking ND to win (I'm biased as it is and know my team way too well). As for rooting for a powerhouse, if you haven't noticed the last huge ND season was '93 in which they lost the National Championship to a team they beat. So to say being an ND fan is "easy" is rather suspect. We don't recruit as well as we used to and pretty much only considered an elite program these days because of our name. Either way, yesterday's game was the 2nd greatest game I've ever been to (2002 Michigan/ND was better IMO) and it was a damn great day. I've got plenty of pictures of myself on the field after the game and it's stuff like this that makes going to a school with a huge football following that much sweeter. Eh it doesn't matter, great weekend to be an Irish fan. I think I'll just soak this one up.

September 12, 200421 yr First of all I would like to send out a big 'f*** you' to all ND fans who haven't stopped reminding me of the game saturday. Secondly, when the spread came out I realized that the people in Vegas are almost as dumb as Tom Lemming. They didn't take into account that Michigan NEVER plays well at ND, especially under Carr.

True, but after watching Michigan dominate Miami, and ND looking like crap against BYU and losing, i don't think they could have set the spread much lower. If many people bet ND the spread would have dropped a ton. It didn't Hindsight is 20/20
September 13, 200421 yr That was freaking beautiful. I still have my doubts on this team though, but a great win regardless.
