September 16, 200421 yr I hoped that we would be able to finish the season strong and maybe end up at about 5 back, but we have really gone down the toilet. Hopefully this will make Ozzie and the team want to not let this happen next year. v_v
September 16, 200421 yr It's not going to be any easier next year with the development of Detroit and Cleveland. KW can no longer acquire underachievers hoping for "lightning in a bottle." Nor can he convince Sox fans our team will win the division by "default." Rebuild the system. Spend some god damn money. Nothing in between.
September 16, 200421 yr This is funny more than it is sad I know the whole season has gone to full blown ass clown status
September 16, 200421 yr So what's this board like in the offseason? Surprisingly active. Of course nowhere near the traffic of the regular season but its by no means a ghost town. Every bit of baseball news is posted regardless of how it relates to the Sox. After a long, cold winter most are anticipating another exciting year of White Sox baseball. Anything to avert the attention off Bears football is applauded.
September 16, 200421 yr it's actually more fun in the off-season. Our record is 0-0. we're tied for first. we can still dream about prospects. And we don't have to worry about getting our fannies drilled by the Twins. Can't pull the plug on this nightmare season quickly enough.
September 16, 200421 yr I found soxtalk at the end of the season last year so almost half my time here was offseason. Its not bad like others said, the mood is alot lighter It was actually 1 year ago today i joined
September 16, 200421 yr Tizzle, your post was one of the best I've ever read. It's not going to be any easier next year with the development of Detroit and Cleveland. --Amen brother. So true. KW can no longer acquire underachievers hoping for "lightning in a bottle." Nor can he convince Sox fans our team will win the division by "default." --Great point. I was fooled we could win this horses*** division at 10 over .500. Not so. The Twinks kick our ass every year. Rebuild the system. Spend some god damn money. Nothing in between. --You are right. But they won't do that. So we either contract the team or continue to try to get lucky. The problem is we are close to being a pathetic loser that will be out of it in May/June. We got major problems. It's also alarming the team has fallen apart under Oz.
September 16, 200421 yr It's also alarming the team has fallen apart under Oz. That shows that it was not all JM's fault that the team underachieved last year.

Plus our membership is way up over last year, so there is no reason to believe it won't be better this year.
September 16, 200421 yr Well I'm excited to continue talking to all of you diehard's throughout the offseason.
