Only one hand needed

...to count our Tragic number... We need to win the next six straight to prevent the Twins from clinching on our home field.

P.S. ...I know Sox Ace is dying to toy with that title...

 Good thing he can't quote it.

You guys got me all wrong.. :headshake :D

BTW Rowand.. here's your quote..

:P

The funny thing is that my first reaction was it was a clever title having to do with cards. Then I realized that that would be stupid. Then I thought about the sexual reference. Then I actually read the thread. I'm worried sex wasn't first.

Somehow someway it'll end up at our place. Just the fate of this team for the past 4 years. I was at the game up in Minnesota when the Sox clinched it in 2000. They lost the game. That's my only Sox game I've ever been too though. But that was before the heated war of words between these two teams came about.

We either have to lose the next 3 and have the twins win 1 of thier next 3 or

lose 2 of the next 3 and have the twins win 2 of the next 3 or

Win the next six straight.

Those are our options guarenteed prevent the twins from Clinching on our home turf.

Edit I just reread this -- boy was I wrong..

Sox have 5.1 million other things to worry about much more important than where and when the Twins clinch.

I thought the title was about how many hands were needed to count the number of runs the Sox scored in the three-game series.

Let's see...... 1, 2, 3, 4.......... yup, just one hand!

I said this in another thread yesterday, but I feel it's worth repeating. I hope the Sox have to sit and watch the Twins celebrate clinching the division at USCF. That'll give them something to think about this winter.

You'd think it would, but I doubt it.

The Twins clinched the division the night Torri Hunter ran down Burke. Our passion was gone, and the Twins became ten-fold. But yeah, it is disturbing that they will clinch before anybody else. But I haven't ever seen the Sox fall apart like they have this year. Heartbreaking to say the least. :crying

The only thing on my dorm wall is the White Sox tragic number, and I update it daily. It is so sad.
