I recommend reading Ted Williams, by Leigh Montville. GREAT baseball book.

I have most of them. Park Life is absolutely awesome and Goodbye Old Friend is a close second (and my great-grampa is in 4 pictures in it). The pictures alone are priceless.

I have hour long train rides to the city so finally got "Ball Four." I know, everyone here and there mom probably has read it, but usually unless it is a movie, I won't read.

Ball Four was scandalous when it came out, but it's pretty mild by today's standards. It's a good read.

I got the 20th year edition and contains two added chapters called Ball Five and Ball Six. Not sure what they are about.

Just more thoughts.
