maggsmaggs
Anderson is batting .304, with 1 homer and 5 RBI's. More inpressively he has a .452 OBP. It looks like he will be in Spring Training fighting Borchard and Everett for a job. Also, Pedro lopez is batting .333 with 5 RBI's and Casey Rogowski is batting .

WHarris1
Awesome to hear. Even though it's a small sample size, we need this guy.
maggsmaggs
Also Borchard is moving farther away from any major league job with a .074 average in the Mexican League.

danman31
How many games in are they? Mesa has played 9 games. Anderson has 23 at bats, Rogowski and Lopez 15. Baj has given up 5 runs in 2 innings and Ulacia has given up 6 in 6.1 IP. Matt Smith, however, is pitching well. In 7 innings Smith is yet to give up a run. Oddly enough he sports a not so hot 1.58 WHIP. With a good showing throughout the whole season in the AFL it's very possible to see him possibly coming up at midseason. I have little doubt that he will start the season in AAA.

danman31
Where did you find the stats on Joltin Joe, whom Kenny Williams continues to embrace? Mexican League Website Borchard is on Mazatlan so click the top pull down for Mazatlan to get their team stats. Borchard is currently hitting .071. He's 1-14, but it was a HR!! :rolly
WHarris1
He's 1-14, but it was a HR!! :rolly Probably went about 600 feet, and is the only time he even touched the ball with his bat.
3E8
My aunt and uncle just moved to Mazatlan! Their team is the Venados, which means deer. Maybe I could go see Borchard play this winter...exciting, huh?

Rex Hudler
Geesh, I am starting to wonder if Baj is having mechanical problems or if he is having confidence problems after his messy stint up here? Maybe it is just that he has only pitched twice in a month? He stopped pitching regularly in September and has only had two appearances, a week apart from each other. More than likely, he is just rusty. It happens.

Butter Parque
I don't know, out of everyone who was called up in September, I thought Baj was the least impressive
GoodAsGould
yeah of all the rookie pitchers called up he did do the worse.... but hey he also had the least chances so the jury is yet to be out on him.... i really liked how munoz and diaz did out of the pen though.. especially diaz
