Game Numba Two

And the first pitch, Schilling gets inches off the outside corner.

Great. :rolly

Top of the 4th now...

2-0 Boston, Rolen at bat, Schilling on the mound, no outs, and runner at 2nd.

Schilling is doing good, again.

Though the Red Sox defense has been s***.

Cardinals are definitely in a hole right now.

Heading home, though, which should help, especially if that "special" strike zone turns in their favor.... :bang

Gotta give the Red Stockings credit, though - they're banging enough to cover their dreadful defense. 8 errors in 2 games = BAD. Winning both those games = REAL good.

Looks like one curse is about to come to an end. What's the Cards problem on the road? They were dominant in the regular season.

AP_LCORSO2.jpg Not so fast my friend.

Nothing is over until it is over with the Red Sox.

I watched them collapse in 86.

(They also collapsed in 75,67,46, etc)

I don't know why people think that if the red sawks win the world series that they are just gonna shut up. I think they are gonna be worse than ever but maybe that is just me.

Thank you Mr. Corso

True. but you know you're on a roll when you can overcome 8 errors in two games. I think it's finally their year.

It is not over yet. Far from it.

Pedro has been very hittable for the past month in a half, and the Cardinals HAVE NOT LOST AT HOME IN THE PLAYOFFS. Not sure I see that changing either.

This series will go back to Fenway...I can almost guarantee you that.

What I look at is how St. Louis played in Houston in the ALCS...they looked very shaky at times, and the pen looked very hittable. Then they went back to St. Louis and it was a completely different series.

I still hope the Cards win...but what I think will happen is that St. Louis will win 3 straight more at home(taking them to like 9-0 at home in the playoffs total), Schilling will be a stud in game 6 and will get the win, and you'll go to game 7, and it will be basically be whether Pedro can shut the Cards down or not...if he can, Sawks win...if not, Cards win. It's that simple.

I see gamer Pedro showing up in game 7, and I think the Sawks win.

Anyways, take off my Miss Cleo hat...it's too big for me anyways. ;)

Pedro (in warmer weather, which is key) vs. Suppan. Lowe vs. Marquis. Wakefield vs. Woodrow, again. If I'm Boston, I'm pumped about those matchups, regardless of where they're played.

Marquis pitched a little tonight as well I believe.

Seems that StLs BP is kinda thin right now.

They miss Steve Kline big time. They had Al Reyes who wasn't even on the roster in the NLCS pitching in the bottom of the 8th tonight.
