November 24, 200421 yr i think Rob Nen is worth a minor league deal(maybe a little more) as a low risk high reward reliver, any thoughts?
November 24, 200421 yr someone will give him a major league deal I think. I just don't believe he will ever pitch again even though the upside is terrific. If he'd be willing to come with no guarantees, I'd applaud the pickup.

Not pitching in the majors for 2 years i'm not sure someone will be willing to give a major league deal, and if we have to give him 500k plus huge incentives i say we do it.
November 24, 200421 yr If he only gets a minor league deal or a little bit more look for him to resign with the giants.

November 24, 200421 yr Nenn isn't going to sign a major league deal. His people have already prepared him for that and he's prepared for that. I feel because this is the case he's going to end up sticking in San Francisco, but I know he lives in the Orange County area (at least part of the time). My best friend works at a physical therapy place that Nenn goes to. But ya, I'd offer him a minor league contract and I'm pretty sure you can still offer him incentives and stuff.
