December 19, 200421 yr After I stopped laughing, I realized this really is a great lesson in economics. If enough people value something, it has value. My understanding is that he now has rights to develop the property and sell lots on his island. If he sells enough lots, he could make a profit. It is a gamble, but not much different than betting the Bears can cover the spread tomorrow, or that your system of blackjack will work. Welcome to the new age of economies.
