December 21, 200421 yr I was wondering if they were going to change the seats. The blue seats are pitiful. After they are changed to green our stadium will very nice.
December 21, 200421 yr so at some points, theres gonna be some green and some blue? That will look really dumb.
December 21, 200421 yr Author so at some points, theres gonna be some green and some blue? I guess so, that will look pretty weird.
December 21, 200421 yr Season ticket sales should explode now... Ha it's so pathetic that this is/has been a concern for Sox fans. Are green seats easier on the ass or something? Good god.
December 21, 200421 yr I have to admit, the picture that they have up at whitesox.com looks pretty good (with all of the seats that forest green color).
December 21, 200421 yr Yes, so on opening day will they be installed? some. New green seats first will be installed in the Club Level, Scout Seats and bleachers before Opening Day 2005. The remaining seats, beginning with the upper deck, will be replaced as weather allows during the 2005 season and 2005-2006 offseason. Full installation is scheduled to be completed by Opening Day 2006.

Full installation is scheduled to be completed by Opening Day 2006. Aisle seats in each row will feature one of the club's historical logos. It sounds like the weather has finally worn out the blue seats, so since they need replacing anyway I'm stoked they're going green. I think the logo-ed aisle seats will be really cool too.
December 21, 200421 yr Ha it's so pathetic that this is/has been a concern for Sox fans. Are green seats easier on the ass or something? Good god. Again, the point is that if the existing seats are weather-trashed anyway and need to be replaced, what's the harm in going traditional?
December 21, 200421 yr Again, the point is that if the existing seats are weather-trashed anyway and need to be replaced, what's the harm in going traditional? There is none. I just have laughed for 15 years at the people who used the color of the seats as a reason to trash the ballpark.
December 21, 200421 yr I guess so, that will look pretty weird. If they would do something on the field to put asses in the seats, then nobody would even notice. "Seats are for asses"
December 21, 200421 yr Thank god, I don't have to worry about a fifth pitcher anymore - cause I've got a green seat!
December 21, 200421 yr I couldn't care less about the color of the seats, but i must say the pics look really good, i just don't like the fact that during the season we're going to have 2 different types of seats.
December 21, 200421 yr There is none. I just have laughed for 15 years at the people who used the color of the seats as a reason to trash the ballpark. Exactly my point.

I think the green seats look really cool but I agree with you it's going to look very weird with both colors for a while.
December 21, 200421 yr I gotta admit, the Scout Seating is gonna look hella cool when that's done. Sadly, with seats starting at $170, I'll be on the outside looking in.
December 21, 200421 yr Thank god, I don't have to worry about a fifth pitcher anymore - cause I've got a green seat! Hey, if you're not going to have an elite team, why not have an elite park??
December 21, 200421 yr Hey, if you're not going to have an elite team, why not have an elite park?? It seems to work on the northside
December 21, 200421 yr I think the green seats look really cool but I agree with you it's going to look very weird with both colors for a while. Maybe the Sox should change uniform colors again...just for the year, blue, green and teal. We'll change the team name to the Chicago Seahawks, win the WS and promptly put an asterisk next the win because TECHNICALLY they weren't the white Sox.
December 21, 200421 yr It seems to work on the northside By the way that comment of mine should have been in green
December 21, 200421 yr Looks good. Along with the improvement of the fan deck and upper deck, our little park on the Southside is really starting to look nice. Golly, I still remember the horrible blue porch in center, the white light structures and the tunnel bullpens. That was really nasty.
December 21, 200421 yr Looks good. Along with the improvement of the fan deck and upper deck, our little park on the Southside is really starting to look nice. And sadly, the park is still not going to get a fair shake from writers who insist on calling it sterile, the Ball Mall, etc. :fyou Screw 'em, the place has become just about the best and most inviting places to see a game in MLB. Their attendence in not needed.
