as being a one of the harshest critic of kw, i really have to give him my props. he has one hell of a offseason. way to go!

even if the team is full of question marks, it is going to make spring training very exciting.

is another trade in the pipes (willie)?

now if he can learn how to make trades. :D

I'll give KW his props for what he's done this offseason for sure. I'll praise him if he makes a trade by the deadline if he sees a weakness and solidifies it which would put us over the top.

KW's never been afraid to pull that trigger. If JR gives him the green light to do so, he'll make a deal if possible.

i debated and debated and i can't help myself. so here it goes.

boy you are asking alot from kw.

I'm not asking for a WS, I would love it, but I'm not going to b**** if the Sox don't make it.

At least KW is aware that we haven't won a Championship since 1917, and he is willing to do everything he can do to get us there.

Let's think ahead to the trading deadline. KW's got an extra 2 to 3 million to pull the trigger on a trade, to put us over the top. Where do you see that trade coming from and what position would he target to replace. Personally I think, it could be a third baseman who hits for a good average (Joe Randa) to replace Crede if he starts out slow again, and Josh Fields isn't ready, which he most likely won't be until 2006. Maybe a closer, if Shingo doesn't have a good year, and the likes of Marte, Hermanson or Vizcaino can't impress in the role either?

I think it's way too early to speculate on that. As Billy Beane says, you play the first two months to see what your needs are. Ask again in early June.

I'm looking forward to this year more than any other year since 1984. Thank you Mr. Williams. There is some risk involved with this team but I can't wait to watch and root for them. With the money KW had to work with, I think he did an outstanding job breathing new life into the Sox.

KW YOU DA MAN!!
