February 13, 200521 yr Mods -- were you guys planning on having one Spring Training thread, in which everything is grouped together, or were we going to have, basically, whenever there's news, there's a new thread sort of a thing...? I kind of like the idea of having everything grouped together in one thread, and then come March, the ST game threads seperate, but it's personal prefence, as others in the past have voiced the opinion of liking everything being separate. Any comments as to that?
February 13, 200521 yr Well some people like having everything in 1 thread, but others like going around and checking all different threads, so maybe we could do both, like we've done with the rumors thread this off-season.
February 13, 200521 yr I think having a general thread where maybe just tidbits not worthy of their own thread could be made, and then more newsworthy things can be made into their own seperate threads. We can make the ST thread on the day pitchers and catchers report.

February 13, 200521 yr If we were to do that, here is some fun math. Say we averaged 400 posts per game thread(most below, some above) You multiply that by 162 games...and you are at 64,800 posts in that one thread You divide that by the 35 posts per page I use...and you are looking at 1851 pages of game threads, and then some. That's a lot of posts.

February 14, 200521 yr I think we could have a big thread with all the names on the roster and the roster invitees. Then after whoever gets cut, or released, we can update it as we go. It'd be interesting to say the least, I'd think.
