I put this in soxtalk because it has pods in it. if u need to move it i am sorry :gosoxretro: :gosox2: :gosox3: :gosox4: :gosox1:

the way its looking in spring trainging scottie POcould have a hundered! last years on base percentage was to good and he had 70 sumtin, and the way he seeing the ball and smacking it it could be a record season!

Ozzie predicted 140! LOL

well i dont know why some of those names our on it but i voted for Crawford because he is probably going to get on base more than Podsenick.... I would of voted for Ichiro but with so many big bats behind him he probably wont need to steal as much.

Podsednik is 6 for 7 with 4 singles and 2 triples. He has two SB and 0 CS. If he plays like this during the regular season he'll win MVP. :D

I think Pods has the worst season on that list with the exception possibly of Freel, but he will have the most steals. record Breaking? He ain't Rickey. Anyways, I think he's the only one who gets over 55. Crawford seems the most likely challenger but he's had the mid fifites both years. IF he walks more he might have a lot more though

Those names are on there because I just took the league leaders from the MLB last year.

Go Ichiro!!! (well, only because I have him on my fantasy baseball team).

Ichiro and the M's will be much-improved this season. Ichiro certainly has no problems getting on base and he baffles the opposing catcher plenty of times. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the 50-60 steals category this year...if not more! Just hoping they don't come against us...*knock on wood*

I sure hope Pods has the most because he's on my fantasy team. All the other players combined didn't have more than 70 last year, so I hope he puts up big numbers again.

I gotta go with Pods for a few reasons...

1) He is on the Sox...DUR!

2) He had 70 last year...

3) He is penciled in for at least 50 next year, more than anyone else had last season....

4) He had 70 last year....

where's paulie on there?

Wait for the infields hits category.......

I'm hoping it's Figgins since he's on my fantasy baseball team but I think it'll be Pods.

i bet if this done on a regular ESPN board or a general board, crawford would be winning the poll or at least close to it. :banghead

This really does seem like a no-brainer. Pods seems dedicated to being a leadoff hitter this year. He's more likely to take a pitch he can hit for a single or a double cleanly then one he thinks he could go yard with. Likewise I'm hurrying good things with respect to his ability to bunt.

It seems there are few pitchers & scenarios that can keep him from not running once he gets on. When you have a player whose SB's are mostly going to be determined by his OBP that's a pretty special weapon to have.

I don't think the same can be said of any of the other choices.

What is your point?

I am gonna go with crawford.

my point is the obvious white sox homerism going on up in here :nono

I don't think so. I don't really like Pods or the acquisition but I do know he'll steal a lot of bases if nothing else. WOuld Crawford win a poll? Maybe. I bet if you polled fantasy baseball players or stat guys that they'd pick Pods for more steals

Nope.

Crawford.

Podsednik.

I'd still take Crawford, he's stolen more bases every year and for some reason I just think he'll take the crown.

Last year podsednik had 70 and crawford had 59.

Sorry, I should have said his personal SB numbers have risen each year. I know last year Pods had 70, I just worded my thought incorrectly.

well I guess I stand corrected. Crwaford is a superiro player in virtually every way possible but it's not the homer in me that thinks Pods will have more steals.
