i love that he has great control. I hate when pitchers are always walking batters. Make them hit your pitches.

uribe almost gets a swining bunt. the fringe pushes it over the chalk.

uribe k's on a breaking ball. not the ab i'd like to see with 2 men on, no out.

For the majority of those teams how has that worked?

ummm well, not to keep beating up this argument while im watching a great game, the first two teams on the list made it to the NLCS with one winning the WS, but other than that, not at all

aj with a hard chopper right back to the pitcher. force on gload at 2nd.

That marks the first time I saw Pierzynski in a Sox uniform. He didn't do anything, but damn, I was still grinning from ear to ear. :D

Half way home, Sox dominating.

crede pops up.

cotts in now.

I remember reading last year that he hardly walk anyone, but K'd quite a few.

Doesn't seem very intimidated out there either.

BMac - :headbang

:gosox3:

hidalgo flies out to cf. 1 out.

B-Mac numbers??

Wow, that's probably been in more game threads than anything I can remember.

Hopefully he gets it together for a season or he is just keeping Fields roster spot warm.

BTW Here is the big difference between what we have seen from BMAC so far and what we have seen come up since Buerhle. Bmac goes after hitters, he is a control pitcher who isnt afraid of going in. He doesnt let the count get in the hitters favor and has control around the plate as opposed to other people *cough*cough* Diaz who are afraid of the hitter, throw meatballs near the plate, and have no confidence.

Confidence is the biggest difference beween Buerhle and what I have seen so far of BMAC and the rest of the clowns we have brought up over the years.

Don't be a playa' hata' yo'! :D

4 IP, 1 H, 2 K, 0 BB

You mean Neil "I have one pitch I can throw for strikes which is a fastball" Cotts?

Not suprising...everytime I see Cotts in, someone walks.

'Ditto' is less typing, let's use that from now on.

nice play on a hard hit ball by fields to gun mench.

nix leans into a cotts fastball. hbp.

rockraines, cotts is an example of why you don't stick young guys into the major league starting rotation before they are ready.
