Man, some of our minor league pitchers are absolutely awful. They've been hit hard late in games this spring.

Inning opening back to back doubles for the Rockies of Meaux. 6-3. No one out in the 8th.

Not because of today, but put me down for Meaux never making it to the bigs. Now for today...he sucks, His lollypops blow, and he will probably be sent down tommorrow. See ya

Ground out to Harris. Advances runner to third. One out man on third. Then double (3rd of the inning of Meaux). 7-3

Fly out, then single to score the 8th run. Borchard bobbles ball, allowing runner to advance to 2nd, then flyout to Borchard. I'm out to make a dent in my beer case.

Sox run their way out of the inning but score 3 runs down 8-7.

The Rockies go 1-2-3 in the top of the 9th

However Matt Smith looks pretty solid...has so far this ST, I believe.

Great game, great job by the rookies to win this game back!

In my opinion Ozuna has made this team as a backup infielder if we do not trade for a player. he has looked really solid and is good in the field.

Agreed, Ozuna is a solid SS/2B backup.

I was impressed by a few things today:

 

1) El Duque, Shingo, and Matt Smith pitched very well today.

 

2) Baserunning was good overall.

 

3) Owens/Young form a great OF duo.

 

4) Ozuna impressed me a lot.

 

5) Rogo is gaining more and more recognition and deservedly so.

 

6) Wonderful poise to come back and win by the rooks.

 

7) Borchard is tearing the ball up.
