Iguchi with an rbi single. Timo caught at 3rd, looked safe. Inning over.

4-3 bad guys.

Nice peice of hitting by the Gooch. If he adjusts to the inside pitch, he could have a really solid season. He seems to make good contact with anything out and over the plate.

Hawk and Kenny talking about how Frank's achievements are more impressive now, hinting at the steroid problem without actually saying it.

How has El Duque looked?

El Duque hits Hairston.

How has El Duque looked?

Not good.

One horrible inning, 3 pretty good ones.

Hawk kissing some major Kenny ass right now.

Ugh, give it up, Hawk.

I like the guy a lot, but Kenny is no where near the best GM in the AL -- not even close...

El Duque just served up a meatball down the middle of the plate on a 2-2 count. Walker singles. Hairston at 2B, Walker at 1B, Nomar up, no outs.

I'm a big Kenny supporter too, but lets at least win a couple division before we start that kind of talk.

Runners on 1st and 2nd now.

Time to get El Duque out of there. Nomar with an RBI single.

He's throwing batting practice now.

Exactly.

Hell -- I know this would probably be unpopular around here, but if the Sox don't make the playoffs this season, I don't see the reason why he should be brought back, but that's another thread for another day... :)

Nomar singles, Hairston scores. Runners at 1B and 2B, no outs. 5-3 Flubs. Aramis Ramirez up.

Wow, nice DP! Todd Walker looked lazy there.

Uribe doubles up Walker on liner from E-Ramis.

And DJ rags Walker for not 'getting dirty' on that play. :rolly

I assume this will be El Duque's last inning, correct?

Fly out to Dye. Inning over.

5-3 bad guys.

Wow, El Duque got out of that inning only allowing a run to score. The way it started out it looked like it was going to be much worse.

Think so. Overall not a good outing for El Duque. If he had one more good inning, I would have said that he had recovered nicely after the bad 2nd. But he was throwing some meat balls up there last inning.

Lets hope he gets it out of his system now.

Carl walks.

Everett draws a walk. I'm loving a healthy, fit Crazy Carl this year.

Gload pops out to LF. 1 out.

He's a whole new Carl. Who knows...maybe he'll finally admit to the existance of dinosaurs.

Gload flies out to left. 1 out.

YES!!!

Wild throw to 1B by Aramis on a chopper by Dye. Then a bad throw to 3B to try to get Everett. Everett scores! 5-4 Flubs.

Edited by Jabroni

2 errors on grounder by Dye. Carl scores.

5-4 bad guys.
