Of course, the additions of Hernandez and Contreras -- the former declined with the Yankees as he aged, the latter never fulfilled New York expectations -- are far from a guarantee, and fifth starter Jon Garland has yet to live up to his billing. But there is a kid in camp named Brandon McCarthy who seems destined to crack the rotation soon, and if Contreras isn't effective, he could always be moved to the bullpen. Otheryears as well. There wasn't even mention of Tadihito in some baseball books. I think they must start trying to put these books togther in November in order to beat the competition to the newstands.
