Would you trade Contreras + Garland for Javier? I would.

I'm praying both can put together solid 1st halfs so that trade will look enticing to the DBacks.

 

The emergence of BMac makes both of them expendable in exchange for Javier. It's a solid $ dump for Zona & they get to mid rotation guys in return.

Both should fit the mid rotation mold in the NL.
