Garland has retired his last 7 batters. Inning over. When will Jon give up the big inning?

Paulie strikes out. 3rd strikeout for Santos. 1 out.

Dye grounds out. 2 outs.

Hawk mentions that Ozuna (1st) and Rowand (2nd) are leading the entire MLB in batting average this spring, surpassing even Ichiro. Rowand is 2nd in slugging percentage and Everett is 3rd.

Spivey hits a leadoff single to LF. That's the second hit for the Brewers in the game. Overbay up...

Ozuna for MVP! :rolly

Gonna happen a lot this year in Milwaukee. They got themselves a damn good LF'er...

Carlos Lee :) :headbang

Garland strikes out Russell Branyan. 1 out. Damian Miller up...

Shut up.

That home run barely left the park. It was more like a muscled pop fly. That homer is all due to C Lee's strength.

What is your point? I was right. Garland gave up the big inning as I predicted. He can pitch well for a few innings but he always serves up one big inning.

It's Spring Training.

Garland strikes out Miller. 2 out. Cirillo up.

Oh okay. I guess I missed where Garland did this exact same thing almost every start last season. :rolly

Was it out of the park? Okay, thanks.

Garland -- good 5th starter? Yes. Anything better than that? Nope.

His ERA+ is 100, so he's probably good for a 4th starter too.

That proves nothing.

Stop getting your panties in a bunch over a muscled home run.

I think a lot of teams would love to have him as a number four, too...

Keep on posting. Who knows, maybe 10K isn't out of site by the end of April.
