April 4, 200521 yr Names, Names! I want names!Bonds> Seriously put their names on the front page and this s*** will stop. It was pretty widly rumored that Morse's(traded for Garcia) suspension last season was roids related. Edited April 4, 200521 yr by Gene Honda Civic
April 4, 200521 yr Full list -- http://espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/2005/0404/2029818.html 1 Sox minor leaguer on there. José Espinal -- listed as a Baron, but according to bull, he wasn't on the roster.
April 4, 200521 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 10:35 PM) Full list -- http://espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/2005/0404/2029818.html 1 Sox minor leaguer on there. José Espinal -- listed as a Baron, but according to bull, he wasn't on the roster. He probably has a AA contract. Many guys have contracts that are higher than the level they are playing. Plus, with the suspension, they don't have to assign him anywhere.
April 4, 200521 yr 7 of them were in the Cubs organization. I guess Sammy hooked everyone in the organization up. echo Edited April 4, 200521 yr by whitesoxin'
April 4, 200521 yr Yeah the amazing number of Cubs was surprising. It's probably not the org.'s fault though. One guy gets hooked up and then tells his teammates that this stuff is the s*** and all of a sudden a bunch of 'em are on it. Still, I'll make sure to tell some Cubs fans about that tomorrow.
April 5, 200521 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 04:35 PM) Full list -- http://espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/2005/0404/2029818.html 1 Sox minor leaguer on there. José Espinal -- listed as a Baron, but according to bull, he wasn't on the roster. He's on the Sox site, pitcher for Winston-Salem Warthogs (A).
April 5, 200521 yr QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 02:22 AM) Wonder what the Cougars guy did to deserve a 60 day suspension? 3rd positive test.
April 5, 200521 yr He's on the Sox site, pitcher for Winston-Salem Warthogs (A). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jose Espinal He started as a Cub. Edited April 5, 200521 yr by Jabroni
April 5, 200521 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 02:32 AM) Jose Espinal He started as a Cub. Wasn't Machado a Cub at some point as well? That just might explain the whole thing.
April 5, 200521 yr Wasn't Machado a Cub at some point as well? That just might explain the whole thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. Robert Machado played for us from 1996 to 1998 and he played for the Flubs in 2001 and 2002.
April 5, 200521 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 02:57 AM) Yep. Robert Machado played for us from 1996 to 1998 and he played for the Flubs in 2001 and 2002. There you go. If any Cub fan mentions either of these two Sox or ex-Sox players, you can blame it on the Cub organization. Edited April 5, 200521 yr by YASNY
April 6, 200521 yr I heard all these guys are just from the Cactus League and the Florida League or w/e's results didn't come in yet.
April 6, 200521 yr QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) I heard all these guys are just from the Cactus League and the Florida League or w/e's results didn't come in yet. That looks right. All the players listed were for Cactus League teams.
April 7, 200521 yr 3 more Pirates have been suspended. http://espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/2005/0406/2031367.html
April 7, 200521 yr That's a lot of players, but I don't blame the league for putting their names out.
