April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:36 AM) That looked like a tick tack call on Chandler on that drive by Francis. Hell if anything I think it was offensive with Francis clearing with his arm. On a sidenote, I just heard them say that was the 3rd turnover of the game for the Bulls. Holy batman thats gotta be a record considering there is 5:26 left in the 3rd. Yeah, that was a candy-ass call. A home call. But then again, that what home-court advantage is all about.
April 7, 200521 yr Howard looking like an absolute freak with 6 blocks already, some of the variety. Edited April 7, 200521 yr by hammerhead johnson
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 06:40 PM) Howard looking like an absolute freak with 6 blocks already, some of the variety. I gotta give the Magic credit. I thought they made a mistake by not taking Okafor instead of Howard. Not that Okafor is bad, but Howard is a beast. Howard probably has more upside as well.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:39 AM) Yeah, that was a candy-ass call. A home call. But then again, that what home-court advantage is all about. Funny how that home call sets Chandler up for pine time with one more foul, which is precisely what happened. 14 boards through 3, but I doubt that he'll get 20 now as he probably won't come back in until there are 7 or 8 minutes left in the 4th.
April 7, 200521 yr I'm here at Uni watching the game, rootin for the Bulls to pull this one out, and really they should with Gordon and Chandler in the 4th. Hinrich needs to guard Francis real good in this 4th quarter though, although knowing Steve, no-one else will get a shot this period.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 04:45 PM) I gotta give the Magic credit. I thought they made a mistake by not taking Okafor instead of Howard. Not that Okafor is bad, but Howard is a beast. Howard probably has more upside as well. Howard is a machine defensively and is a tremendous rebounder. Plus he has a great attitude. He was a hell of a pick. Not that Okafor isn't good, but Howard is going to be better.
April 7, 200521 yr Thats not flagrant? EDIT-NVM they showed a better replay Edited April 7, 200521 yr by WHarris1
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) Pargo for three! 83-80 Bulls. It was all set up by Chandler's strip of Howard. Ya Tyson did a fantastic job on that and Gordon actually had quite a nice pass. Deshawn called out of bounds, but replay shows otherwise. Bulls get lucky on a call
April 7, 200521 yr On a sidenote, Pargo is really becoming a part of this rotation. I've always known he was a hell of a shooter, but he used to kind of just do his own thing. Now he's becoming quite the asset.
April 7, 200521 yr Kirk going down really helped Pargo, in the sense that he got to show Skiles something. Now Skiles trusts him like one of the regs.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 01:03 AM) On a sidenote, Pargo is really becoming a part of this rotation. I've always known he was a hell of a shooter, but he used to kind of just do his own thing. Now he's becoming quite the asset. Yeah, the book on him is that he never met a shot that he didn't like. With a little discipline, he can be an asset off the bench, no question.
April 7, 200521 yr Bulls are lucky to be in this game the way they've shot from the field today. Magic TO's have killed them as usual, and Steve Francis doesn't even have one.
