McAfee v. Norton

Featured Replies

Do any of you guys have either positive or negative experiences with McAfee. I've always been a Norton guy, but the school offers VirusScan for free and I've been thinking about grabbing it.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

never used it. am a norton guy too...

Our school has free McAfee too. I'd grab it as long as it's free. I think it's a fine program.

Norton has let me down lately. Maybe I should try McAfee?

how do we get mcafee free?

WATCH OUR FOR VIRUSES.

I've used both and once you switch it just takes a little while to get comfortable with the new program. I like Norton's One Touch Fix feature and left that on when I switched to Computer Associates Free Virus program from Road Runner. Free is almost always better.

Im a Norton user. Never tried McAfee, but i just might. Both are free if you really think about it
